Besharam, Rishi Kapoor Apologising, Ranbir Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor

The veteran actor is apologetic for himself and his family, and we think we deserve this sorry from them. Read on to know why…

Rishi Kapoor has not been very picky with his roles these days. In his second innings he has given us good films like Do Dooni Chaar, Namastey London, Love Aaj Kal, Patiala House, Agneepath, Aurangzeb, D Day, etc but he has not spared us from watching his horrific performances in Housefull 2, Chashme Buddoor, Student Of The Year, Shuddh Desi Romance, Besharam, etc. We are happy that at a recent press meet he apologised to the media for one such terrible performance.

Rishi apologised to us not just for himself but also on the behalf of his wife, Neetu Kapoor, and son Ranbir Kapoor for having worked in Besharam. The film that is best remembered as the movie which brought the three together for the first time, had disastrous box office collections and even terrible reviews that had put the whole Kapoor khandaan to shame. Talking to a leading daily he said, ”It was bloody disappointing. Neetu, Ranbir and I are all sorry we did that film. When Abhinav approached us, I thought it would be an entertaining film but it went terribly wrong. He was over confident, still high on the success of Dabangg. However if he comes up with a better script, may be I’ll work with him again.”

Ranbir is presently busy with Bombay Velvet and post that Roy and Jagga Jasoos will keep him busy. Rishi is busy working in All Is Well and Aayi Bala Ko Taal Tu. Neetu on the other hand is enjoying her life as the proper housewife of the Kapoor khandaan.

Now we wonder with so much of work commitments coming the papa-son way, will there be any movie with the three coming anytime soon? We wonder…But we definitely will not want to see the trio in another Besharam, because not just was the movie a torture, but also the tacky and cheap outfits made some of us go fashion blind! So Rishiji, we accept your sincere apologies for tormenting us with Besharam, and we also forgive Neetuji and Ranboo, but if we ever get a whiff of the fact that your family is all set to do another similar film, we will definitely not forgive you this time.
