The talented actor wanted to have a special screening of his next but we hear YRF turned down the idea. Shocking, isn’t it? But the question is why…
Aamir Khan was keen on showing his forthcoming film Dhoom:3 to his friends and relatives. Mr Perfectionist apparently requested the makers to arrange a special screening for the same but Yash Raj Films has refused to do so. “Aamir was keen to get a feedback from his friends. He has been taking an active interest in the promotions, but his request was turned down” said a source. If media reports are to be believed then the reason why YRF won’t be holding any special screening for their much-awaited film is coz they don’t won’t to kill the suspense factor. While talking to a leading daily, the spokesperson of Dhoom:3 confirmed the news, “No previews are been organised at all.”
Though it is being said that Aditya Chopra’s production house doesn’t believe in private screenings, they had one for Kabir Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger which starred Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. In fact, Shahrukh Khan starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan had a special screening too which was a grand affair. The list also includes Rani Mukerji’s Dil Bole Hadippa. So we wonder why Aamir hasn’t been given the same privilege. Is it coz this Khan doesn’t share the same rapport with YRF as the other two Khans? We understand why Rani’s film had a private screening and we are sure you too do know but isn’t the dusky beauty close friends with Aamir as well? She could have easily helped her dost by putting in a word to Aditya Chopra, hai na? But that hasn’t happened too.
So are the makers upset with the lead actor of their film Dhoom:3? Maybe coz Aamir is known for taking interest in every aspect of his films and this wouldn’t have gone down well with YRF. Also, there were rumours about Khan not liking the climax of the film and hence asked the makers to re-shoot. Reportedly Aditya gave in to his actor’s demand and shot the climax again however this time the producer is making sure he has the final say, wethinks.
Whatever the reason but this whole no-screening episode may affect Aamir-Aditya relationship, no?
