The Aditya-Kat starrer has been put on the back burner. But why?
Abhishek Kapoor’s upcoming directorial venture, Fitoor has found itself in yet another trouble. And this time it’s quite major, it seems. Earlier, there were some issues with the star cast which was later sorted. For those of you who don’t know, originally Sushant Singh Rajput and Katrina Kaif were roped in to play the lead pair in the film. However, then came the news that Aditya Roy Kapur replaced Sushant, as the latter chose to walk out of the film. And now, if the recent rumours are to be believed then this project, which is inspired by Charles Dickens’ The Great Expectations is shelved. Yes, you read that right.
A report in a tabloid says the film has been put on hold and Abhishek has moved on to other projects. However, the production house still maintains that the shooting will begin from mid 2014 and that the director is currently in Kashmir on a recce. Now we really don’t know whom to believe here; but let’s assume that the project is on hold right now. So what made Abhishek to put Fitoor on the back burner? Well, there could be many reasons behind it. As you all know, Katrina is a busy bee these days, as she is in Shimla, shooting for her another film Bang Bang opposite Hrithik Roshan. That could be one of the possible reasons, right?
