Why was Salman Khan deleted from Akshay Kumar’s Fugly?

The catchy number featuring Salman and Akki has been deleted from the final cut of Fugly. But why?

So we happened to watch Fugly recently. And while enjoying our movie experience, we like many others in the theatre were waiting for the catchy track Ye fugly fugly kya hain featuring Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar (the producer of the film) to appear on that 70mm screen. But all of us were disappointed coz the track was not included in the final cut of the film, which marks the debut of Mohit Marwah (Anil Kapoor’s nephew), Olympic medalist Vijender Singh and Kiara Advani.

And reportedly, this has upset the Dabangg Khan, for he had made an appearance in this video as a favour to Akshay. Looks like the Jai Ho actor ignored the fact that Akshay is the best editor in town. Even Farah Khan took at dig at the Khiladi 786 actor’s habit of cropping off the roles of his co-stars in the Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer Om Shanti Om.
