The one film old actor turned a vegetable vendor for a day recently

Various peeps from B-town are coming up with some quirky and unique strategies to promote their films. Yes some of them end up in a disaster, but that’s a different tale all together.

Anyway this time, it was Varun Dhawan, who came up with a new strategy to promote his upcoming film, Main Tera Hero, which also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Nargis Fakhri. The Student Of The Year actor took to Crawford market and turned a vegetable vendor for a day to promote the film, which is being directed by his father David Dhawan.

Sporting the Gandhi topi and wearing the gamcha around his neck, Varun was surely looking a typical vegetable vendor…or should we say a hot vegetable vendor? The actor became a vegetable vendor’s hero and helped him do his work at the market.

The one film old actor took to Twitter and said, “No no it’s just a thought guys I became a patiwala for a day and worked in Crawford market it really moved me.”

Talking about the hard work of vegetable vendors, Varun further tweeted, “Forget movies and heroes the real heroes are these people who toil everyday to earn their bread and butter its really really difficult.”

Take a look at the pictures and tell us if you like Varun’s promotional strategy.
