The young lass who made her debut in Bollywood this year with Yaariyan got into trouble at the Delhi airport for carrying a bullet in her bag. Yes, you heard that right! But why was Rakul travelling with a bullet? Read on and find out…
Rakul Preet Singh may have entered the industry in a grand way with this year’s sleeper hit Yaariyan which was directed by Divya Khosla Kumar. But the babe found herself in a sticky situation recently when she got detained at the Delhi airport. Reportedly, the actor was flying to Mumbai from Delhi and while going through the security check at the airport in the capital city, a bullet was found in her bag. Coz of this very reason Rakul was asked to step aside and was later detained by CISF personnel (Central Industrial Security Force). The B-town beauty was then grilled for hours about the bullet. We hear Ms Singh had a 8mm bullet in her bag which is not available in India. Interesting, hai na?
But here the twist: The bullet which was found in Rakul’s bag was not real. Yes, you that right…again. Well, it was a dummy bullet that was used on the sets of a south film eight months ago and Rakul was part of it. Now that explains it all, hai na? The Yaariyan actor was released by police after they discovered the whole fake-bullet-story.
We are glad that the bullet wasn’t a real one but it would have surely been a tough day for Rakul Preet Singh wethinks! But thanks to her, we all know what not to carry at the airport, no?
