After making films with Shahrukh Khan (Billu) and Salman Khan (Kyon Ki…), the Rangrezz director desperately wants to work with Aamir Khan. But will that ever happen? We wonder….
Right through his illustrious film career, producer-director Priyadarshan has worked with almost every big Bollywood star, from Shahrukh Khan to Salman Khan. But there’s one actor he’s been relentlessly pursuing, with very little success – Mr Perfectionist, Aamir Khan. It’s learnt that the talented filmmaker met Khan long ago to discuss a script and Aamir even showed interest in it. The story in consideration would have made for a realistic, issue-based, 90-minute film, but since Aamir asked for a bound script and Priyan wasn’t ready with it at the time, they couldn’t work together. Aamir’s rules…Aamir rules!
Talking about the incident, Priyan recollects, “Yes, it’s true. It’s my mistake. I didn’t give Aamir the bound script. I’m not going to face him till I have the script ready. The kind of effort he puts into a film is unbelievable. I’m a spontaneous person. He’s very calculative and disciplined.” Contrary to reports suggesting that Aamir rejected the script, Priyadarshan says, “I have met Aamir only three times so far. I don’t know which script his production house is talking about!”
We hope the two talented individuals join hands soon. Now that, wethinks, would be one helluva movie!

If he does, it will certainly be Priyadarshan’s best film since Hera Pheri (2000).
