Will Aamir Khan’s new directorial venture be controversial as well?

Buzz is that Mr Perfectionist is set to direct a film again after a gap of six years

Though Aamir Khan’s directorial venture Taare Zameen Par garnered lot of praises and made Darsheel Safary a star overnight but it also had a big controversy attached to it.

So what was the controversy all about, you ask? Well, Aamir has known Amol Gupte since he was acting in Ketan Mehta’s Holi, where Amol was one of Mehta’s assistants. Aamir was really impressed by Amol’s abilities as a writer and both of them decided that they will work together. Amol went to Aamir with the script of Taare Zameen Par and the perfectionist instantly decided that he will not only act in the film but will produce it as well. Shooting began and things were fine for a while but after the completion of the first schedule, Amol and Aamir started to have creative differences and the latter took over as the director of the film. This move of Aamir obviously angered the Stanley Ka Dabba director after which he completely disassociated himself from Taare Zameen Par. Since then, the two haven’t been on talking terms.

Now we hear that, after a gap of six years, Aamir Khan is all set to don the director’s hat yet again. Aamir is keeping all the details under wraps, but what we’ve found out is that he might kick off this project after the release of Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K. next year.

Though we are excited about the Dhoom 3 actor’s next directorial venture, it looks like Mr Perfectionist has to be very careful with this one. After all he doesn’t want any writer claiming that Mr. Perfectionist has hijacked his project. If you know what we mean! Wink wink!
