With the veteran filmmaker being unwell, we hear that Yash Chopra’s reclusive son Adi will okay the last shot of the Shahrukh Khan-Katrina Kaif-Anushka Sharma starrer
A lot was said about how Aditya Chopra and his team of assistants will make the shoot of the last scene of Jab Tak Hai Jaan special for veteran director Yash Chopra. It was supposed be a gift, a token of love and respect from all those involved in the last directorial venture that Chopra Sr would be working on. But life seems to have other plans; Yash Chopra has been in hospital with dengue. He is recovering fast, but may not be able to manage the deadline for completion of the film.
Since the dates of the super-busy stars Shahrukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma cannot be wasted, the buzz from the power corridors of YRF is that Adi might have to fill in for his papa. Given his age and the recent bout of illness, the doctors have advised Chopra Sr not to stress himself. But since JTHJ is his last film as a director, he insists, the veteran director is keen on shooting the last scene himself. We are not sure if his family, especially son Adi and adoptive beta SRK will let him go through the strain of completing a shoot. For now, we just hope Yashji gets well soon…
