The soon-to-be Prime Minister of India will swear an oath on May 26 and has invited some of most famous stars to this ceremony

Salman Khan, Rajinikanth and Amitabh Bachchan are a few celebrities Narendra Modi has extended an invite to his swearing-in ceremony as the 14th Prime Minister of India. While a plethora of political heavyweights around the country and beyond are also on this list, will our glamourous and busy actors be a part of Modi’s big day?

Reportedly NaMo shares close ties with some of film fraternity’s bigwigs like Salman, Rajinikath, Big B etc as well. Not so long ago BJP’s blue-eyed boy was spotted flying kites with Sallu miyaan and sipping chai in a lungi with Kochadaiiyaan actor. Both Salman and Rajini congratulated Modi on his win in the elections 2014. And who can forget Big B’s Gujarat tourism commercials.

Politics and Bollywood have shared an age-old bond and recently the a huge chunk of the filmy world came out to congratulate and support India’s “Modi-fication”. Recently at 67th Cannes Film festival, Sr Bachchan’s bahu praised Modi for his noteworthy political journey. Acclaimed filmmaker Anurag Kashyap also welcomed Modi’s election as PM and was vocal about his delight. Not to forget Madhur Bhandarkar, Preity Zinta, Vivek Oberoi, Salim Khan have voiced their support for this political star.
