The two talented actors who have never shared screen space, might share it now

Ratna Pathak Shah and Supriya Pathak, who happen to be real sisters have married to Naseeruddin Shah and Pankaj Kapoor respectively. But what’s interesting is, neither them nor their husbands have ever shared screen space together. However, this is going to change very soon as both Naseer and Pankaj have been approached by young director Nitin Chandra to work together in his upcoming film, Company Ustad.

Now before you tell us to check our facts, let us clarify, – yes, Naseer and Pankaj have worked together in Vishal Bhardwaj’s Maqbool before – but the two never had any scenes together.

“I`d love to work with Pankaj. He is a fine actor. But the script has to justify our presence,” said Naseer in a recent interview.

Many filmmakers have tried hard to get these two talented actors together, but it’s only Nitin who has succeeded. “It was really Naseer Saab and Pankaj Saab and no one else for these parts. The characters they were offered are rare in Indian cinema. The film is a bio-pic and those two roles are rigorously researched and designed. I have been working on the characters for four years. The script is powerful enough to invite the presence of actors like Naseer, Pankaj and Manoj Bajpayee,” said Nitin.

We are really excited to watch Naseer and Pankaj together on the silver screen. Aren’t you BollywoodLifers?Subscribe to me on YouTube
