Buzz sure suggests that this piece of juicy goss is true. But we dig in to find out what’s really up
After their murky breakup, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu pointedly stayed away from each other off screen. Why, John got busy dreaming about his new life with fiancé Priya Marwah and Bips seemed lovingly involved in her new-found single status.
But then came along Sanjay Gupta’s Shootout At Wadala, a movie in which Bips was signed on for the cameo role of Chitra, the dancer who romances Dawood Ibrahim’s elder brother Sabir. And in the same movie John plays the role of Manya Surve, a policeman who bumps off Sabir.
Now the interaction between Chitra and Surve is a very brief, we are told. So does John have reason enough to try and oust Bips from the movie? We think not. After all, who does that to someone with whom one has shared such a special relationship for so long. Right, John?
Even so, the movie set is abuzz with goss that John has indeed used his clout. But why would he do so? Is it because he is miffed with the Bong babe taking digs at him time and again at events, when she asked to comment about men and love in general? Or does it have something to do with a possessive streak in Ms Marwah? We have no clue. Do you, readers? Do tell us!
