Will Kajol give her nod for the Hindi adaption of The Killing?

We hear the Bong actor has been approached for a role in the remake of the American crime drama series and she apparently is still mulling over it

Kajol is an actor par excellence and it will be only a boon for the television world if a performer of her stature makes an appearance on the small screen. The Killing is about a female cop who goes through the grind of solving mysterious cases and maintaining a decent personal life – all at once. Even Madhuri Dixit-Nene has been offered to be a part of the remake of The Good Wife – which is a legal drama. Looks like TV honchos are trying really hard to change the face of Indian television by getting these talented babes on board and introducing some strong concepts on screen.

Kajol has been on a sabbatical for a long time now. After the birth of her son Yug, the actor wanted to concentrate on her baby and hence she has been away from the arch lights for over three years now. She was last seen in a full-fledged role in We Are Family (2010). We have no clue if her reply regarding the challenging TV offer will be in the affirmative or no, but we would love to see the babe as an energetic cop, creating magic on the chota parda with her powerhouse performance.
