Hosting is his first love, so he says, but with so many films in his kitty will the funny man have time?
Manish Paul started his career in the glamour world as a host and maintains that it will always be his first love. He went on to become an RJ, did TV shows and then did some movies too. While he experimented with a range of things, he always took up hosting when it came, be it for award shows, music shows or dance reality shows.
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Chhote Ustaad – the first big show he presented is what took his career to great heights, followed by Comedy Circus, Dance India Dance Li’l Masters and finally Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
JDJ gave Manish the opportunity to share screen space with some great directors and actors who came to promote their movies on the show. And don’t forget, that’s where Karan Johar went gaga over the witty dude. Manish is one film old (Mickey Virus) and his second movie Tere Bin Laden 2 is all set to hit the theatres. He even did a few episodes of Mad in India on Star Plus, which he quit due to creative differences. The actor is extremely busy with his movie assignments and gym schedules; he even has a few movie offers lined up.
In all this, we wonder if the actor will be able to return to host Jhalak or will the makers look for a new face as his replacement. Kapil Sharma is already out of the picture with him being busy with his movie Bank Chor and show Comedy Nights with Kapil. Rumours suggest that Manish will not be coming back this season, but the dance reality show is just not the same without him, no?
