Will Prabhu Deva get married to Nayantara in Mumbai?

Remember the first time you saw a lanky young man groove effortlessly to the catchy song, Urvashi Urvashi? That young man is now an in-demand director, all set for a big Bollywood wedding

Recently we heard that Prabhu Deva, the Wanted director, plans to get married, for the second time, to South star Nayantara in the heartland of Hindi films, Bollywood. The well-known actor-director from the South wants to avoid prying eyes back home and tie the knot here instead, if he gets the needed legal permission, that is. We wonder, will he be inviting Bollywood denizens to his wedding? Anyways, Prabhu Deva intrinsically belongs to the Tamil, Telugu and Kannada industry, but has been treading cautiously into Bollywood over the last few years. After the smashing success of Wanted he has joined hands with Sanjay Leela Bhansali (producer) for an action flick called Rowdy Rathore starring the Khiladi star, Akshay Kumar and the Dabangg gal, Sonakshi Sinha. It is also believed that the Dabangg dude, Salman Khan is keen to team up once again with the director, though that, we think, will depend on Salman’s chock-full diary. This is actually Prabhu’s second attempt in B-town. Despite having a strong track record as an actor in the South, he never really tried acting in Hindi films. He choreographed for Salman’s film Chandramukhi and the Sunny Deol-Sridevi flick Gumrah. And in 1994 he burst on to the Hindi film scene as an actor with Humse Hai Muqabla, the dubbed version of his Tamil masala film Kadhalan. Onscreen as well, Prabhu Deva’s energetic and elastic dance moves made everyone sit up and take notice. But that was it, and he seemed to be content with making people shake their booty in Hindi films. Three years later, he acted in a film with Arvind Swamy and Kajol – Sapnay; it was released in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. His first proper appearance in a Hindi film was in Pukar, but again as just a fleeting appearance where he matched dancing steps with Madhuri Dixit in the foot-tapping and incredibly complex choreography of Kay Sera Sera. Now with Wanted, it looks like Prabhu Deva has moved away from directing dance sequences and is concentrating on directing films. And in which direction his wedding plans take him is something we wait to find out more about…Subscribe to me on YouTube
