Will Shahid Kapoor’s Fake bomb at the box office just like Badmaash Company?

The Kaminey actor is all set to play a conman yet again on the silver screen

Shahid Kapoor didn’t really impress the masses as a scamster in Badmaash Company, which also featured Anushka Sharma, Vir Das and Meiyang Chang. The film bombed at the box office big time. But it looks like Sasha has not realised his mistake as he is all set to repeat his conman act very soon.

Yes, from what we hear, Shahid would be doing a crime thriller titled Fake (tentative title) with director duo, Raj and DK, who had earlier directed India’s first zom-com, Go Goa Gone. The director duo, who is currently busy wrapping up the final schedule of Happy Ending, starring Saif Ali Khan, Ileana D’Cruz, Kalki Koechlin and Govinda will start shooting for Fake post the release of Happy Ending.

Krishna DK claims that Fake will see Shahid in a completely different avatar. “Shahid will play a scamster who commits one of the biggest financial frauds the country has ever witnessed. His character thinks that he is above the establishment, but eventually, the law catches up with him,” DK was quoted by a tabloid.

Ummm. Isn’t that what we saw in Badmaash Company? But then if Krishna claims that we will see the R…Rajkumar actor in a different avatar, we hope he is saying the truth. What do you think BollywoodLifers?
