The Yamla Pagla Deewana actor is likely to lend his voice to the Hindi version of Riddick
We hear that Sunny Deol has been approached to lend his heavy baritone for Vin Diesel’s character in the Hindi dubbed version of Riddick. Riddick is the third installment in The Chronicles of Riddick series, with Diesel playing the lead character. The film is slated for release on September 6 by PVR pictures in India in four languages – English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
Sunny has been approached to dub for Vin Diesel’s character because his deep voice is similar to Diesel’s. An official representative of PVR said, “Yes, we have approached Sunny to dub for Vin Diesel for the film. He is one of the few actors well known for his deep and commanding voice. Hence, we feel this will make for a great connect for Indian audiences. Now we are hoping it all goes well and we get to hear his voice in the movie”
Earlier, it was reported that Vin Diesel would be visiting India to promote Riddick and if things fall in place Sunny is expected to join him. Well, with Deol’s much delayed I Love NY releasing on September 13 (as reported), we wonder how Sunny will split his dates for the film promotions…
