The noted filmmaker has been hospitalised owing to the disease

All was going extremely well, with Shahrukh Khan-Katrina Kaif-Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan gathering steam and Yash Chopra fans looking forward to his last directorial venture. The cast and crew were also gearing up to shoot a few leftover scenes in the picturesque Switzerland when everyone realised that their darling filmmaker wasn’t really feeling well.

Tests revealed that Mr Chopra had fallen prey to dengue, a disease on a rise due to the recent erratic rains. The 80-year-old director was quickly admitted in the ICU of Lilavati hospital, Mumbai. We hear that he is recovering fast. But the development might push the final shooting schedule forward and affect the promotion of the film.

We really hope that our favourite Chopra gets well in a jiffy. Fingers crossed!
