Bollywood stars paid homage to the late filmmaker by unveiling his statue at the UTV Stars Walk of Fame

Yash Chopra’s statue was unveiled at the UTV Stars Walk of Fame yesterday. Yash Chopra’s wife Pamela and son Uday Chopra were spotted posing with the statue. The mother-son duo got highly emotional as they spoke a few words about the late director. Rani Mukerji and Vaibhavi Merchant were also spotted at the event, and as they paid respect to Chopra, we could see how difficult it was for them to control their tears. Parineeti Chopra looked resplendent in a blue floor-length anarkali.

Shartughan Sinha and UTV honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur was seen conversing with each other. Sinha was also spotted posing with Poonam Dhillon. Prem Chopra also arrived to pay homage to the industry’s sweetheart- Yashji.

The statue will soon join other greats such as Dev Anand and Raj Kapoor on the Bandra promenade.  Though the occasion was a happy one, many of the guests couldn’t stop their tears as they shared the ways in which the deceased filmmaker touched their lives!
