Yo Yo Honey Singh’s Desi Kalakaar, Hrithik Roshan-Katrina Kaif’s Tu Meri from Bang Bang trend this week!

India’s rap badshah’s latest album and Hrithik-Katrina’s peppy yet romantic song have become a hit

It’s Thursday. It’s Trending Tunes day. In this section, we bring you a list of 10 songs that have been topping the charts all this week. Take a look…

Tu Meri – Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif’s first romantic cum party number from Bang Bang is groovy and Jr Roshan shows off his effortless dance moves in this one. Katrina can be seen in a red-hot LBD shaking a leg with Hrithik, looking all chirpy and excited. We liked the mood of the song the most. The track composed by Vishal-Shekhar and crooned by Vishal Dadlani is groovy and full of energy and standing at #1 since last week, this number has become an instant hit amongst the masses.

Desi Kalakaar – The title track from Yo Yo Honey Singh manages to impress us with its cool vibe and the unique vocals of Singh as he vouches for his love played by Sonakshi Sinha. This song is already turning out to be quite a hit with the fans going gaga over the nearly 10 minute long story style music video. As far as the song is concerned, it stands at #2 position on our list.

Love Dose – This peppy and romantic number, which again is from Honey Singh’s album has some unusual musical arrangements and a cool R & B feel to it. Yo Yo’s fun take on the old classic Chand sa roshan chehra along with the lines he spouts to his girlfriends dad adds lot of flavour to the song. But what stands out in this Punjabi number is Honey Singh’s interesting rapping style. As always.

Samjhawan – Sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, Samjhawan from Alia Bhatt-Varun Dhawan starrer Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania has been a favorite amongst the masses ever since it was released. However, with Tu Meri and Yo Yo’s songs from his album being the new favourite, Samjhawan has dropped down to #4 from #2 this week.

Yaar Na Miley – Sung by Jasmine Sandlas and composed by Yo Yo Honey Singh, Yaar Na Miley is a unique melody with a swanky tune and catchy beats from Jacqueline Fernandez-Salman Khan’s Kick. You would just keep wanting to hear it again and again. The track has dropped down from #3 to #5 this week.

Tere Hoke – The number from Raja Natwarlal has the soulful voice of Arijit Singh who has already won us over with his previous renditions. The song also shows a sizzling chemistry between Emraan Hashmi and Humaima Malik. The romantic track which was at #4 last week has come down to #6.

Bismil – Let’s get straight to the point. There are two things that got us hooked to Bismil from Shahid Kapoor’s upcoming film, Haider. Firstly the words of the song and Shahid’s treatment of the same through his dance. Gulzar writes yet another masterpiece and Shahid acts out the angst in those words quite flawlessly. Secondly, the fusion of slightly Arabic-esque music with contemporary style of dancing in the video.

Galliyan – Sung by Ankit Tiwari, this romantic number from Sidharth Malhotra, Shraddha Kapoor and Riteish Deshmukh starrer Ek Villain is appropriate for romantic long drives on a rainy day, dreamy isn’t it? It’ll make you fall in love all over again.

I’m Your DJ Tonight – Turn up the volume in your speakers as Honey Singh has arrived with a party number with I’m Your DJ Tonight. The song is heavy on bass and drums, but it seldom makes you wanna groove on the dance floor. As usual it is Aata Majhi Satakli singer’s playful lyrics and catchy rap style which comes to the rescue as the song fails to hit the mark of a popular party track.

Samjhawan Unplugged – Alia Bhatt crooned Sooha saha from Highway and won our hearts. And she did exactly the same when she sung the Unplugged version of Samjahawan for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania. After listening to Alia’s version of Samjhawan, we were mighty impressed.
