Youngistaan quick movie review: Jackky Bhagnani and Neha Sharma’s chemistry isn’t the best!

Director Syed Ahmad Fazal’s Youngistaan has hit the theatres today

Youngistaan, which is believed to be the remake of of the 2010 Telugu film Leader, has hit the theatres today. The film stars Jackky Bhagnani and Neha Sharma in lead roles. It’s a love story set against the backdrop of Indian politics. Our critic Bhagyashri Pawar is watching the film at a theatre right now and here’s what she had to say about the Faltu actor’s latest movie…

She says, “Youngistaan is the story of a couple, Abhimanyu Kaul and Anwita Chauhan, madly in love with each other. Leading a normal, life until Abhimanyu’s (Jackky) father dies and he has to step into his father’s shoes, take up the role of the Prime Minister of India.. Complications begin when Abhimanyu’s life takes a sudden U-turn. Their normal love story gets complicated coz of politics. Till now, the movie serves the purpose and is entertaining. It might not be a  Katrina Kaif – Ranbir Kapoor’s Rajneeti, but the focus isn’t on politics. In fact the movie is about the world’s largest democracy fails to give it’s citizens the sense of freedom coz of the society! Jacky and Neha’s chemistry isn’t the best, but they do a decent job.”
