The Veer actor will star in yet another period film, this time in the south
Chiyaan Vikram, known for his versatility has chosen a period flick for his next venture, titled Karikalan. Directed by debutant Kannan, who had worked for special effects in films like Enthiran, Anniyan and Ghajini, the movie stars Salman Khan’s Veer co-star and good friend, Zareen Khan as Vikram’s love interest. Pasupathy and Shanmuga Raja play prominent roles in the film.
The mega budget venture is being produced by SilverLine Film Factory of SS Vasan and S Parthi. Plenty of animatronics, miniatures and computer graphics will be used in Karikalan which chronicles his life with a mix of fantasy. N Karthik who worked as an associate cinematographer in films like Yaaradi Nee Mohini, and Mumbai Express is behind the camera. Popular art director SS Murthy is in charge of art direction.
This will be Zareen’s second period flick after Veer.

This post seems to recieve a good ammount of visitors. How do you promote it? It gives a nice individual twist on things. I guess having something authentic or substantial to talk about is the most important factor.
