Zee Cine Awards 2012 winners: Ranbir Kapoor, Vidya Balan win top honours

Rockstar and The Dirty Picture win most awards at the Zee Cine Awards 2012

The Zee Cine Awards 2012, held in Macau on Saturday, January 21, were a dazzling affair. Ranbir Kapoor’s performance in Rockstar managed to get him the Best Actor (Popular) trophy. Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan, who also hosted the awards with Priyanka Chopra, won the Best Actor (Jury) award for Don 2. Vidya Balan garnered the Best Actress award in both categories for The Dirty Picture.

Best Film (Popular) went to Rockstar and Best Film (Jury) went to The Dirty Picture. AR Rahman won the Best Music Award for Rockstar. Jeetendra won the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Because my friend..Popular are voted by audience its not jury award. If SRK had his way, he would have bought that also.

If you study carefully jury is mostly given to those who attend or host etc etc.

another fixed award ceremony ………..now a days ….all awards are fixed…these awards given to please the people like SRK…(by creating unecessary categories)….all these awards are fake….thats y real stars like Aamir, Ajay,Salman do not respond to these awards functions because these actors are above such fixed awards…..SRK is loser…he can only buy these awards but he cant buy natinal award..thats y he didnt win any national award yet…

it is understandable if SRK gets popular award; and Ranbir gets Jury award for his critically acclaimed bravura performance. Why was jury afraid to give to Ranbir, when Vidya was given- will SRK threaten jury; is SRK above jury?

Wat the hell is going on, dat Best actor award goes to shahrukh khan wat a joke. Every where is politics.Salman Khan is the best actor.This is very very bad dat Salman Khan doesnt got any award but in actual he is the Superstar.

The jury proves that the King still reigns. There is only one King Khan. Jury decides based on acting, not box office collections. Hence, Rockstar won awards when it was only a semi-hit. Shah Rukh Khan is a better actor than Salman Khan so he is bound to win the award.

SRK deserve best actor award. Salman and Ranbir also did a good job, But when you have to choose you will choose SRK. I didn’t like dirty picture, So I didn’t like vidya also, But there other then that we didn’t have anybody so Vidya got it.
Best movie of the year should be Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.

hey maya…i am not a fan of salman and i hate srk like anything….all the awards given to srk and his films are rubbish….as akash mentioned,some awards are added for the first time for srk….that means srk bought the awards…he is a loser and a pathetic actor…ra.one is huge disaster movie which makes me sleep…ra.one is somehow copy of tron…and after checking srk’s movies,i came to know that,in most of the movies he did overacting…i agree he do different movies..but his movies are boring..only 1 time watch..u can also skip them like i did…so as for me,above awards are unacceptable…

Congrats to Ranbir and Vidya …… but SRK and RA.ONE winning Best Actor award (jury) for Don 2 and Best Action movie again proved that Indian Award Shows are just typical corrupt and immature.
SINGHAM and BODYGUARD were the top-notch action movies of 2011 and the lead actors of both movies were far better than SRK in both of his dull-boring 2011 movies !!

I loved Ready but not Body Guard, Kareena Kapoor’s acting was terrible. I did not like Don 2 and RA One.

Salman is a very great actor all round. It is always a pleasure to watch Salman’s movies but of course with right actress.
SRK is making children’s movies (RA one) I hate animation, violence, special effect sand the sound was terrible.

Nothing like a good story mixed with romance, comedy and great songs.

I loved the songs in The Force even though the movie was pretty violent for me.

Vidya Balan is a great actress and she deserves the award. These days it is very hard to find good actors.

Thats really gud 4 all… we always see new stories in srk films Like..Mohabbatein, Swades, chak dy India, Om shanto Om…, My name is khan, Rab nai bana de jori, Ra.one, Still he is giving new We should really appreciated him, he has guts to do some thing different from others.., Salman as usually boring concept+ copy stories+ same role+ same acting.. nothing is new n different… Ra.one was best movie of Bollywood till now a which internationally we can present..

Salman and Bodyguard is the most deserving for awards. This shows that all the awards are biased. How can you ignore the highest earner of the years from awards. It is all biased and awards are purchased.

Bodyguard was a blockbuster movie n it was gud.. bt plzz dnt compare in acting with others…. Ranbir also did xcellent job..
