Actor Michael Douglas has won the best actor in miniseries or motion picture made for television at the 71st Golden Globe Awards held on Sunday evening in Los Angeles. He was awarded for his performance in Behind the Candelabra.

In the other category, which recognises actresses’ work, Amy Poehler was awarded with best actress in TV series comedy , Parks and Recreation. She was also hosting the award function with Tina Fey.

Poehler looked excited and surprised as she wasn’t expecting it.
