The Titanic actor says that she feels uncomfortable when people ask her to autograph her nude photograph from Titanic
Actor Kate Winslet says her nude portrait in Titanic still haunts her and she refuses to autograph a copy of it. In the James Cameron directed 1997 blockbuster, she lay down naked on a sofa while actor and co-star Leonardo DiCaprio sketched her portrait, reports a popular website.
Fans still ask her to sign copies of the nude picture, said to have been drawn by Cameron.
The 38-year-old actor said, “I don’t sign that one. It feels very uncomfortable. Why would you do that? People ask me to sign that one a lot, and actually there’s a photo of it as well that someone’s lifted from a still of the film.”
“That photo gets passed around. It’s like, ‘No, I didn’t mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing 17 years later. It is still haunting me. It’s quite funny, really,” Winslet added.
