Late Philip Seymour Hoffman’s film God’s Pocket to release in May

The late Oscar winning actor’s final film has got a release date

Philip Seymour Hoffman’s film God’s Pocket, which recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, is going to hit the theatres on May 9.

The film, which is directed by Mad Men actor John Slattery, is based on the novel of the same name by Pete Dexter and revolves around a gritty blue-collar neighborhood where a construction “accident” leads to the burial of a body, reported a leading news website.

The independent film stars Richard Jenkins, Christina Hendricks and John Turturro and is produced by Sam Bisbee, Jackie Kelman Bisbee, Lance Acord, Slattery, Hoffman and Emily Ziff.
