The actor, whose last film Besharam was trashed by the critics and rejected by the audience, says he doesn’t regret doing romantic-comedy
When asked if he regrets doing the film, Ranbir Kapoor said: “Not at all. I don’t regret doing Besharam.”
The Kapoor scion started his career with dud Saawariya and in six years he has done about a dozen films. Of these Bachna Ae Haseeno, Wake Up Sid, Raajneeti, Rockstar, Barfi and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani did well at the box office and the rest bit the dust.
Abhinav Kashyap directed Besharam, which fell flat at the box office, also featured Ranbir’s parents – Neetu and Rishi Kapoor – and newcomer Pallavi Sharda. “Even my first film was a flop. I don’t regret anything in my life. I had an opportunity to work with my parents in the film,” he said.
What went wrong with the film? “I don’t have any formula for success. I work with my conviction in my films,” said Ranbir.
