Shotgun has long buried the hatchet with Senior Bachchan.
Guess that’s why the actor turned politician wants Big B to to be the President of India Shatrughan Sinha was recently at the UN General assembly a couple of days back for the third time. The veteran actor expressed his views on how the Indian film fraternity has been misunderstood by the world over, the actor said in a recent interview, “Normally we in the Indian film fraternity are considered quite ill-informed on matters others than entertainment. But that isn’t the reality. Personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Kamal Haasan are not just interested in cinema. They take a keen interest in world affairs, and are also terrific orators.”
Talking about his rapport with his long time colleague Amitabh Bachchan, the bindaas actor said, “We go back a long way. There were creative conflicts when we shot together for Kala Patthar and Dostana. And whatever differences happened, have been washed away with time.” Not just that, Mr Sinha is of the opinion that Big B will be an apt candidate for President’s post, “He has all the qualifications. He’s articulate, well-read, suave and known all over the world.”
We wonder what Sr Bachchan has to say about this. Will Amitabh Bachchan ever consider politics? While Big B decides we can wait for Sinha Sr’s comeback film Woh Aadmi Bahot Kuch Jaanta Hai where he has a lot of powerful dialogues to deliver.
