After opening on a good note on its first day, the film’s box office collection saw a limited growth on it’s second day, which was lesser than expected. The film again showed limited growth on it’s third day and saw a decent trend on its first weekend. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted it’s weekend collection, “#Befikre Fri 10.36 cr, Sat 11.60 cr, Sun 12.40 cr. Total: ₹ 34.36 cr [2100 screens]. India biz.”
If Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor's Befikre manages to hold up well in its first week and put up good numbers. It’s sure to do well in its second week as the only film releasing this week is Sharman Joshi’s Wajah Tum Ho, which will have a different target audience doesn’t have much buzz around it. So in a way it’s a clear window for this Ranveer Singh starrer till Aamir Khan’s Dangal releases on December 23, 2017.
BollywoodLife's review stated, “Befikre might have its flaws, but it still deserves your time thanks to a breezy narrative and fantastic performances by Ranveer and Vaani. Expect something on the lines of DDLJ and you will be disappointed. However, if you have a thing for entertaining romcoms, then Befikre can be that fun date movie for you.”
Befikre starring Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor has collected Rs 21.96 crores in two days. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, ” #Befikre has limited growth on Sat… Sun crucial… Fri 10.36 cr, Sat 11.60 cr. Total: ₹ 21.96 cr [2100 screens]. India biz.”
Befikre is Vaani Kapoor's latest film after a long gap. The actress earlier worked in her debut Shudh Desi Romance co-starring Parineeti Chopra and Sushant Singh Rajput.
Befikre surely has an impressive weekend collection. It is interesting to see if the films box office collection is affected by demonetisation since Dear Zindagi is the only film to have earned a profit after it.
