Dishkiyaoon movie review: Harman Baweja tries hard but fails to pack a punch!
Finally Shilpa Shetty’s first production venture Dishkiyaoon has hit the theatres. Frankly, I had no expectations from Harman’s comeback film even though his ladylove Bipasha Basu was touched by his performance. However, I was still looking forward to Dishkiyaoon only for one reason – It’s a gangster flick and has Sunny paaji but sadly both the elements failed to impress me
Harman Baweja who is making his comeback in Bollywood with Sanamjit Singh Talwar’s directorial debut Dishkiyaoon has certainly improved as an actor. He is also seen flaunting his perfectly chiseled body which is indeed a visual delight Click here to read more
Youngistaan movie review: Jackky Bhagnani, a good lover boy to Neha Sharma, but merely average as a politician
Jackky and Neha’s Youngistaan, a love story set against the backdrop of Indian politics has hit the theatres and here’s our verdict
Director Syed Ahmad Afzal’s Youngistaan starring Jackky Bhagnani and Neha Sharma has released. The film is enjoyable as long as we get to see the love story between the lead pair. And as for the political backdrop of the movie, it gets a lil chaotic and unconvincing at times. One good thing about the film is, it doesn’t make you leave with a heavy-heart. It’s neither a serious political drama like Raajneeti nor a typical Bollywood kinda love story, which can’t have a happy ending because of the society. Click here to read more
Noah movie review: Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins and Darren Aronofsky put together a stimulating piece of art!
With interpretation of dreams, forecasting from teacups and intuitions – this is not a religious or a propaganda film, but director Darren Aronofsky’s interpretation of the biblical tale, Noah’s Ark
Set on a vast canvas with appealing visuals, Noah is a fantasy laden, blinkers-on, one dimensional portrayal of the biblical character of the same name. And in no manner does it resemble any epic from the same genre, ever seen before. With computer generated images merging with ash-barren locales, this is a very modern take of a biblical film. O Teri movie review: Pulkit Samrat and Bilal Amrohi will leave you brain-dead with their juvenile antics!
Possibly touted as the new age Andaz Apna Apna, this film is a loose concept forever in search of a concrete plot. Watch it only if you have absolutely nothing else to do this weekend –not to kill the time, but to realise the value of your precious hours and money
A disco song (titled Butt Patalo to be more specific) in Umesh Bist’s directorial venture O Teri-starring Pulkit Samrat and Bilal Amrohi in the lead roles-summarizes what you are likely to feel after watching this satirical comic caper. The techno beat party number shows at least a dozen of firang babes moving their posteriors, clad in a tantalisingly short skirts or hot pants, as our heroes croon ’round and round your butt is going round’.
