After Cannes, Eega to be screened at Busan International Film Festival

The Telugu blockbuster Eega and Tamil’s Naan Ee after being opened to rave reviews here is now going international

SS Rajamouli’s Telugu blockbuster revenge-drama Eega will be screened at the 18th edition of the Busan International Film Festival, South Korea. It is the fifth foreign film extravaganza for which the film has been chosen. It was recently selected for international film festivals in Cannes, Madrid, Shanghai and Puchon.

“I got the official confirmation. Eega is being screened at Busan International Film Festival in South Korea,” Rajamouli posted on his Twitter page. Busan International Film Festival is scheduled to take place October 3-12.

The story of a man reborn as a housefly to avenge his killers, Eega features Nani, Kiccha Sudeep and Samantha Ruth Prabhu in lead roles. The film also pocketed two National Awards – best feature film in Telugu and best special effects – at the 60th National Film Awards 2012.
