Ajay Devgn skips Singam 2 audio launch

The B-town star who was supposed to be the chief guest opted out due to ‘unavoidable reasons’

The much awaited audio launch function of Singam 2 was held in Chennai on Sunday. However, Bollywood star Ajay Devgn, who was supposed to be the chief guest of the event, skipped it due to ‘unavoidable reasons’.

The first copy of the audio CD was unveiled by Sudeep, Karthi, Lingusamy and cast and crew of Singam 2. There were six songs composed by Devi Sri Prasad and speakers at the function hailed the composer for his ‘energetic work’.

Earlier, a press meet was held and Suriya and director Hari addressed journalists.

Suriya said he has teamed up with Hari for fourth time (after Aaru, Vel, Singam) and was very happy about it. “He has always helped me reach new audience,” the actor said.

Hari said the sequel would be racier than the first part. “Singam 2 will begin in Tirunelveli and will end in South Africa,” he said.
