Ajith to retain ‘Mankatha’ look for future movies

Tamil actor, Ajith who turns 40 next year, decides to play his age in upcoming films

It came as quite a shock when superstar Ajith, who recently celebrated his 50th venture in Kollywood, announced that henceforth he would be playing his age. The  actor wants to focus on roles that suit his age and is asking script writers to look for such subjects.Currently busy with Billa 2, Ajith says he wants to retain his salt-and-pepper looks in all the new movies that he signs up. “I will be part of scripts that provide me with characters that reflect my age. Anyway, why should I hide my age,” he asks during a break from his shooting at Hyderabad.  The actor is known for taking a bold stance on several issues. He had openly admitted that stars were forced to attend felicitation functions for politicians and even ordered the disbanding of his fan clubs in the past. However, we wonder if his change of heart regarding his looks has anything to do with the resounding success of Mankatha where Ajith appeared without makeup.
