The babe from South has her nose deep in history books for her upcoming film

After proving herself in Arundhati, Anushka Shetty is gearing up for another period flick, Rudramadevi.

The film is to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Telugu by director Gunashekar. Interestingly the director will be using 3D technology for this flick. “Gunashekar and his team are currently in Germany discussing with experts to get the best of 3D technology,” say sources in the know. The film will have music by maestro composer Ilaiyaraaja.

Anushka is thrilled about doing the main lead in Rudramadevi. “It is a great opportunity to portray a great queen on screen,” says the actor, who has been reading a lot of history to prepare herself for the role.
