Anuskha Shetty is not holding up ‘Alex Pandian’: Director Suraj

There has been talk in Kollywood that Anushka Shetty was the cause of the delay in completing the Karthi Sivakumar-starrer Alex Pandian

The Tamil masala flick directed by Suraj is slated to hit the theatres by October 12.It was said that since Anushka Shetty was in Georgia, where she was shooting for Selvaraghavan’s so-called dream project Irandam Ulagam opposite Arya, she was not available to work on her other projects, including Alex Pandian. But Suraj has dismissed the stories. “There is no truth in it. Anushka is a thorough professional and worked extra days for Alex Pandian since she had to leave for Georgia,” he says.

The director adds that Anushka has completed 90 per cent of her portions in the movie and the rest will be shot once she is back. “We are now busy shooting scenes featuring Karthi and Santhanam,” says Suraj.
