Aparna engaged to Dr Bharani

The ceremony was attended by film personalities and doctors

Aparna got engaged to Dr Bharani at a glitzy function in Chennai. An arranged marriage, Bharani is the son of film producer Kannappan and owns two hospitals in the city

The traditional ceremony was attended by several film personalities and top doctors of the city. Cheran, Vairamuthu, Usha Rajhendhar, Srikanth with Vandhana, Abhishek, Panchu Arunachalam, Subbu Panchu, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Rohini among others attended and blessed the couple.

Aparna, who started her career opposite Dhanush in Pudhukotayilirundhu Saravanan, did a few films before pursuing her passion – Bharatnatyam.

She went on to start her own TV production house successfully.
