The Kolaveri actor is on seventh heaven as he gears up to work with the Grammy award winner for his upcoming project

Actor Dhanush is currently busy with Mariyaan, a Tamil-Hindi bilingual directed by Bharat Bala and produced by Aascar V Ravichandran.

According to sources, the film is about a worker in Namibia (played by Dhanush) who is abducted by terrorists and how he escapes. South actor Parvathy Menon plays the female lead in the film, which has music by Oscar winning music composer AR Rahman. The actor is extremely kicked about the new venture.

Apparently, it is the first time Rahman is composing music for a Dhanush starrer. However, Rahman’s association with director Bharat Bala dates back to 1997, when they worked together for the promotional music video of Rahman’s Vande Mataram album.
