It’s not Simbu but the Vettai actor Arya who will be playing the character of Tashi, originally essayed by Imran Khan
It seems Kollywood filmmakers love to remake Aamir Khan’s films. After Nanban (remake of 3 Idiots) the next blockbuster to be remade is his home production, Delhi Belly. It will be directed by Kannan who had earlier made Kanden Kadhlai based on Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor’s Jab We Met. The Jayamkondan director has finished writing the script and is all ready to begin shoot.
It was earlier rumoured that ‘Little’ superstar Simbu was to play the role that Imran Khan did in the original, but as per new updates, the Vettai actor has been signed for the lead role. Naturally, Arya is excited about his role in the off-beat film which made waves with its dark humour and has even watched Delhi Belly a few times. His Boss Engira Bhaskaran co-star, Santhanam will be the second lead of the trio in the film. Meanwhile, a hunt for the third musketeer is still on.
