Telugu superstar, Gangotri hero turns a year older today
Born on April 8, 1983 Allu Arjun entered Telugu film industry as a child artist in Vijetha, 1985 when he was just two years old. He went on to make a cameo appearance as a dancer in Suresh Krisnna’s Daddy sixteen years later. Allu made a smashing entry into films as a lead hero with K Raghavendra Rao’s Gangotri. He went on to rock the south film industry with his next blockbuster movie Arya in 2004. The next few years proved to be happy sailing for Arjun, who didn’t just feature in hit films but also bagged many prestigious film awards. Parugu, Vedam, Julai were some films that got Allu Arjun not just box office success, awards but also increased his fan following. His cameo in Ram Charan Teja and Shruti Haasan starrer Yevadu, this year earned him a lot of praise.
He broke a million hearts when he got hitched to his girlfriend Sneha Reddy on March 6, 2011. His popularity in films was however unaffected. He became a proud father to a baby boy on April 4 this year.
