It is said that fantastic dancer like Prabhu Dheva was inspired after witnessing Chiru’s dance moves on big screen. So, on the occasion of Mega star’s birthday, Bollywoodlife brings 5 best dance numbers of  Chiranjeevi:

Golimar from Donga

It was evident from his dance moves that the veteran star was inspired by dancing sensation Late Michael Jackson. But when he paid a tribute to him in his 1985 film Donga, the entire Tollywood was brought to standstill by Chiru has pulled off the Michael Jackson’s Thriller act, in some style. The song Golimar featured Chiranjeevi’s unique break dancing skills and the song is still popular termed as Indian Thriller by many fans.

Chik Pika Rika Boom Bole from The Gentleman

Not many know that Chiranjeevi had acted in Hindi films too. The actor starred in lead role of Mahesh Bhatt’s directorial The Gentleman in 1994 opposite Juhi Chawla. The film might have failed at box office, but Chiru managed to make an impact with his dancing prowess in the song  Chik Pika Rika Boom Bole. With perfect combination of swift steps and ultra slow moves, Chiranjeevi owned the song with his style.

Bangaru Kodi Petta from Gharana Mogudu

This 1992 flick is perhaps one of the biggest hits of Chiranjeevi’s acting career. The song Bangaru Kodi Petta picturised on Disco Shanti and Chiru, is an another example of Mega star’s prolific dancing skills. The star showcases his flexibility by pulling off some crazy dance steps.

Ee Petaku from Mutamestri

This song from another Chiranjeevi classic Mutamestri, is a different from his usual dance numbers as he performs some cool rustic moves along with sexy siren Silk Smitha. The song shot at a vegetable market shows Chiru in full form oozing energy in each and every frame. He does an elaborate break dance too in the song which is a treat to watch.

It’s a challenge from Aaj Ka Goonda Raaj

Chiru performs another Michael Jacksonesque dance number in the song It’s a challenge from the Hindi film Aaj Ka Goonda Raaj. If you think of it, one would agree that actor was one of the first prolific male dancers of Indian cinema, way before Prabhu  Dheva had taken the nation by a storm. This song is one of the first dance offs in Bollywood, in which Chiranjeevi kicks ass with his wild dance steps.

We wish the super talented actor a very happy birthday and hope he continues to dance his way into the hearts of people.
