The actor turns 26 today
Born on May 17, 1987, Charmi is keeping herself busy, particularly in Tollywood these days. The Mumbai gal who made her film debut while still in her teens has managed to do over 60 films and has shown she has tremendous staying power, too.
Despite several of her early films such as Nee Thodu Kaavali and Sri Anjaneyam in Telugu, Kaadhal Azhivadhillai with STR in Tamil, being flops, Charmi bounced back with her performance in Gowri. Other big films followed, like Mass in which she was paired opposite Nagarjuna and Thriller.
Her roles in Anukokunda Oka Roju and Mantra were widely appreciated, with the latter earning her a best actor award. She made a foray into Bollywood with Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap and then starred in Zila Ghaziabad, too. Charmi is currently busy in Tollywood with Prema Oka Maikam, Saradaga Ammayitho and RUM. Known for her dancing skills, Charmi is roped in for glamour sequences as well.
