Chiranjeevi returns for his 150th movie

It will be a home production to be directed by Puri Jagannadh

It’s finally official. Chiranjeevi, who had left movies for playing the real-time role of a Jan Sevak, has announced that he would return to the silver screen. He revealed this while attending the 100th day celebrations of Rangam (dubbed version of K V Anand’s Ko) at Tirupathi. Chiru also revealed that the film would be produced by his home banner, which has his son and rising superstar Ram Charan Teja at its helm. It was Chiru’s brother Naga Babu who convinced him to accept the project, the megastar revealed. Insiders suggest that the film may be titled Adinayakudu though there is no official confirmation on this. Buzz is that ace action director Puri Jaggannadh will direct the film. Chiru, who made his movie debut in 1978 with K Vasu’s Pranam Khareedu, was last seen in a major role in 2006’s Stalin.
