The Kolaveri di actor was initially supposed to just make an appearance in the comic flick, but will now be seen grooving to a track as well

Mollywood’s superstars Mammootty and Dileep will be sharing screen space with Kollywood’s Dhanush in Kammath & Kammath.

Initially, the Tamil star was to do only a cameo in the movie, where he was supposed to play himself. Dhanush was to be invited as the chief guest, who inaugurates a restaurant owned by the Kammath brothers. But now the role has now been expanded to an entire song. So we will see Dhanush grooving to a song as well in the comic caper. Now we are not sure if the number will be in Tamil or Malayalam – either ways, we are super kicked about it. This is Dhanush’s first appearance in Mollywood.

Kammath & Kammath is about two brothers, Raja Raja Kammath (Mammootty) and Deva Raja Kammath (Dileep), who taste success after a long struggle. They now are the owners of a chain of restaurants in Kerala. Their dialect is a blend of Malayalam with a Konkani accent. Hailing from Goa, they settle in Kerala years ago and begin with a small thattu kada (shop). The story revolves around the relationship and affection between the two brothers. Karthika Nair and Rima Kallingal play their love interests.

The movie is produced under the banner Anto Joseph Film Company, and is scripted by the hit pair of Siby K Thomas and Udayakrishna. The music of the movie, which will hit the theatres on January 25, is by M Jayachandran.
