Dhanush’s `3′ and ‘Aadukalam’ head to New York Indian Film Festival

The New York Indian Film Festival will see a string of Tamil films being screened to wow the audience

National Award-winning actor Dhanush‘s 3, and Aadukalam along with Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai and Varnam.While 3 was directed by Superstar Rajinikanth’s elder daughter Aishwarya R Dhanush, with her husband sharing screen with actor Shruti Haasan, Aadukalam was helmed by Vetrimaran, which fetched several National Awards.

Azhagarsamiyin Kudhirai, based on a popular novel by Bhaskar Sakthi, was directed by Suseenthiran. It had Appukkutty and Saranya Mohan in lead roles. Varnam helmed by SM Raju has Monica of Azhagi fame in the lead. Even as it was expected that Dhanush would attend the New York Indian Film Festival, circles close to the actor denied it. Apparently, he is busy shooting for his Bollywood debut film, Raanjhnaa with Sonam Kapoor.
