Films to watch out this week: Mohanlal’s Peruchazhi, Jr NTR’s Rabhasa and Puneeth Rajkumar’s Power to hijack box office!

Fans are in for a treat this weekend with three big films ready to rock the silver screen

Three big film industries. Three big stars. Three big films. And a huge crowd of excited fans. Come August 28 and the box office is ready to be struck by a storm of three big films. In Tollywood, it is Junior NTR’s eagerly awaited Rabhasa which is releasing this Friday on August 29. Mollywood is gearing up for Mohanlal’s Peruchazhi to hit the screens on Friday, ahead of the Onam celebrations. And Sandalwood awaits the release of Puneeth Rajkumar’s Power, which would see the light on August 28.

Peruchazhi starring the complete actor Mohanlal has been generating a lot of buzz, thanks to its fun filled trailer and unique, out of the box promotions. The film directed by Arun Vaidyanathan is touted to be a political satire, which involves a local politician’s adventures in US where he has been roped in to help in mayoral elections.

Rabhasa seems to be a typical action mass entertainer, starring Jr NTR, Samantha and Pranitha in lead roles. The film was supposed to release on Independence Day, but due to some unforeseen circumstances the film will finally hit the silver screens on August 29. Jr NTR has promised his fans a paisa vasool entertainer.

Power starring Puneeth Rajkumar and Trisha is set to release this Thursday. The movie is said to be the Kannada remake of Mahesh Babu’s 2011 blockbuster Telugu flick, Dookudu. With two big names of Puneeth and Trisha associated to the film, Power is expected to get a fantastic opening at the box office over the weekend.

While there is no question of clash between these three films, as they are all in different languages, it would be interesting to see which star manages to set the cash registers ringing. With three big releases to look out for, movie buffs are expected to have a fun time at cinemas this weekend.Subscribe to me on YouTube
