That’s where he disappeared to after his last film Nadunisi Naygal didn’t find favour with the audience
Kollywood is missing its favourite hit maker. After his huge hit, Vinnaithandi Varuvaya (VTV) with Trisha and Simbu in the lead, Gautham Menon did an about turn and made a psychological thriller Nadunisi Naygal, which didn’t go down well with an audience fed on tripe and masala. Gautham escaped to Bollywood to work on the Hindi remake of VTV with Prateik Babbar and Amy Jackson in the lead.
Gautham, who has made a few changes to his script to suit the Bollywood audiences’ taste, is shooting in various parts of Mumbai and its neighbouring areas. Soon the team is expected to travel to Kerala where the second schedule will commence. Some of the important scenes and song sequences will be canned in USA. VTV was a huge hit in Tamil and Telugu. Buzz is that the B-town version is expected to be a bigger success.
