GV Prakash Kumar to compose anthem for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 6

The musician will compose the anthem for the new team which enters this season of the IPL

Composer GV Prakash Kumar, AR Rahman’s nephew, has been roped in to compose the anthem for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the upcoming season of Indian Premiere League (IPL 6).

“Signed up to do the anthem for Sunrisers for IPL,” tweeted Prakash. Sunrisers Hyderabad, owned by the Sun Network, has replaced Deccan Chargers as the new team to be included in IPL 6. The 20-20 version of the format has gained great popularity over the years and it remains to be seen how Prakash Kumar adds his magical touch to this rocking version of the game.

Kumar Sangakkara is the skipper of Sunrisers Hyderabad, which has Tom Moody – the former Australian cricketer – as its coach, along with mentors Krishnamachari Srikkanth and VVS Laxman.
