After playing a village belle in Tamil movie, Velayudham, Hansika Motwani has turned gangster for her next movie Vettai Mannan
The starlet who had started her career as a child artist in daily soaps and Bollywood has managed to create a name in south movies. Hansika Motwani now tries to experiment with her roles. “I am playing a character I have never done before. I have a different look. I play a gangster girl,” said the actor, who is currently shooting the Tamil language movie with Simbu and Deeksha Seth.However, Hansika is not playing Simbu’s love interest in the film and the insiders feel this twist makes the plot more interesting. Vettai Mannan is a multi-starrer on the lines of Vaanam and it also stars Jai. Meanwhile, Hansika is awaiting her next release Oru Kal Oru Kannadi with Udayanidhi Stalin. It is expected to hit the screens early next year.
