Ileana, Ravi Teja in ‘Idiot 2’

Ileana has, of late, been in the news for all the wrong reasons. Three back-to-back box office flops almost finished off her career, which was on an upswing earlier. She was even forced to slash her fee. Well, the bad times are over. Or so it seems. Ileana has now confirmed that she will be starring in Puri Jagannadh’s Idiot 2. The film is a sequel to the superhit Idiot (2002) and stars Ravi Teja. Ileana has had a good track record with Ravi Teja and has appeared in two hits with him: Khatarnak and Kick. She has also worked with Puri in two films: Pokkiri and Nenu Naa Rakshasi. While Pokkiri was her ticket to stardom, NNR was a commercial disaster. Idiot 2, which will be produced by BVSN Prasad under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra, is expected to go on the floors in January 2012.
