Onscreen, that is. Buzz is he might play a godman
It seems it is redemption time for Prakash Raj. If the buzz doing the rounds is true, the actor, who made a mark by essaying the bad man on screens across south India and Bollywood, might decide to eschew evil and turn good with a vengeance for his new movie – a biopic on Satya Sai Baba.
Apparently, the actor is all set to portray the protagonist in Kodi Rama Krishna’s movie chronicling Satya Sai Baba’s life – from his birth to his rise as a spiritual leader and his passing away. Prakash is hugely popular in the south and is gaining more fans with his Bollywood performances – Wanted, Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap and Singham. Apparently, it is this popularity that the makers are trying to cash in on. A multilingual, the movie is slated to release on Baba’s birth anniversary, which falls on November 23.
